Spring Color Trends of 2022

The seasons are changing, and the pandemic is taking a better turn (sort of!) and people are getting out and wearing their Sunday best and not just on Sunday but all seven days of the week, or better yet when the mood strikes.  If there is one thing this worldwide lock down has done is made some of us realize is there are no special occasions and that every day is a special day, and we need to look & live like it is.  I recently heard a term that embodies this in relation to travel, because of our ability to travel little more now, people will do it just to get out the house and experience life again, it was referred to as “revenge traveling”, well this is basically what’s happening in fashion right now.  2022 Runway shows have been able to depict what this will look like with vivid color which leaves nothing to the imagination.  I even broke down a little and jumped into the deep end of the color pool, enough so my neutrals will be jealous.

I mean let’s face it spring has sprung, and we want to all to feel all the feels behind it.  Even Carrie Bradshaw is popping out in a this Hanifa Miya Knit Cardigan dress, which I is DEFINITELY on my wish list.

But we aren’t just going for a monochromatic field of dreams, no we have taken our adventure further into the color grid by color blocking. Now, this may take some level of skill because sometimes is gets a little tricky knowing which colors complement each other. But if in doubt do what I do and google it, she knows everything.

So what do you think of this current expression in fashion? is it something you would do or are good staying on the calmer end of the color spectrum? Let me know.
